Dec 1 is opening week for muzzleloader season. After some serious thinking I have decided to hunt primarily with patch and ball . The 54 Lyman GPR will begin the season , but only because it is ready to go .
Then later on after getting the Renegade up and running with the GM 58 cal barrel , I will give it a chance . The wife will be using her Knight LRH with a mountaineer stock . I installed a single power scope since the new regs went into place but she decided she didn't want a scope so I pulled it off today and she went back to open sights. The kids will all be hunting with Knight LittleHorns. Lord willing the freezers will be full before the month is out . We have til mid January but I always stop deer hunting in December and focus on my annual Mt Lion hunt which this year starts Dec 26th .

It's been a good season for connie and I so far, in the first week we have 2 nice deer in the freezer already, it's half full. I passed on many small bucks and a bunch of nice big fat does to extend my time afield befor late ML Season arrives. May you all have the same luck as we have.
