took some time but got my mk-85 almost ready

Default took some time but got my mk-85 almost ready

looked around and got the qd bases and rings grabed a scope from natchez its a 2-7-32nikon...all i'm missing is a base screw lol gun feels great, i got 2 new nipples(11) and a new breachplug...this is the gun I wanted 25 years ago and ended getting a white mountian carbine..going to hunt in maryland next fall i got a year to get everything ready...i can't wait

I got the gun used for a 100 bucks soaked the breachplug with oil for 4 day untill i broke it free...the gun was loaded with a maxi-hunter and powder lol i thought i was nuts i coun't see down the barrel i was thinking is there something i don
t know about knight rifles then i pushed out the bullet never though it would be loaded...i spent 200 more on the scope rings base nipples and breachplug..i should be all set, the bores like brand new

are those Warne rings? or maybe Talley? Rifle looks good.

Don't forget a scope bra to keep that scope from getting burned.

those are knight quick disconnect rings and bases...you can see the knob you unscrew there 2 springs that push the clamp out off the base...it was a pain kinda i lost the spring 3x and had to crawl around looking for it lol

Love it!

I have 3, mk's - one looks just like that one, but with a black scope on it. I set it up for my son. They are great guns, you won't be disappointed. Most that I've seen and used shoot very well with 90-100gr Pyrodex, and a 240-260gr saboted bullet. Try a load out in that range and see where the sweet spot is. Those guns are tack drivers.

Thats a great deal for 100 bucks. I have the forest green stock on my mk85, I think they are the best looking stock made. you will love the gun.
