Default 250gr ShockWave Results

Well my weeks vacation in VA during the muzzle loader season started and ended with two harvests. On Saturday I arrowed a nice 8 pointer although upon seeing him on the ground I shot a deer we had decided to pass on because hes just to young. I didn't look close enough to notice his short g1's. Instead i focused on the shot(34yds). The rage did the rest. Now on to the muzzle loader harvest. Since we purchased the farm I have yet to take a nice bear and this season followed suit. Passing on numerous deer through out the week if a mature doe would give me a shot this am then I would take one. I had plans on leaving for home at noon so any time after 9am it was Doe season. Just above my stand is a nice holly thick it and luck was with me because 930ish 6 deer stepped out at 84yds. I put the Omega cross hairs on a mature doe and she fell where she stood. I used my T/C Prohunter loaded with 110gr 777 and a 250gr Shockwave with supplied sabot.

very nice looking doe!! That is fancy eating right there. Since she dropped on the spot I will guess there was some excellent internal damage. And of course nice shot placement.
