Default Lee conicals ??

I have a T/C Hawken in 45 cal that shoots the 240 gr maxiball just fine but they are getting hard to find. I was thinking of trying the Lee traditional mini @300gr or a pistol bullet @270gr. sized @.454.
Anyone have any feedback on either of these and what kind of Goex charge worked best for you?
Thanks

I do not have a .45 caliber T/C Hawken rifle. But I have a .451 White and a .45 Green Mountain barrel. I shoot a Lee .451 bullet I cast that weighs 423 grains of pure lead. I shoot them with 65-80 grains of powder. And they do quite well. I have not idea how they would do in your rifle. I have cast the minnie ball and never had any luck shooting them so I sold the molds.

I've had better luck with the Lee R.E.A.L bullets in my .50s
