Default Best setup for Knight Disc Extreme

Hello all,

I just purchased a Knight Disc Extreme. I would like
to hear everyone’s recommendations on what name brand
products and combination of those products have produced
the best results for their Knight Disc Extreme in regards to
shooting performance.

Thanks in advance.

A forum moderator on another site uses 90 grains loose 777 FF with 250 grain Barnes Expanders in his Extreme. His 100 yard groups average 1-1/2 - 2"

I don' t have the Extreme, but I' ve got the Knight DISC and I shoot 100 gr. (2 pellets) of Pyrodex pellets w/ 265 Swift A-Frame sabots. This combo works extremely well in my smokepole.

Either 220 or 240 grain Dead Centers or 348 gr. Powerbelts.

Pair of Pyrodex or Triple 7 pellets, or 90-100 grains Triple 7 loose. I use Federal 209A primers-- only because I' ve never has a misfire in a muzzleloader with them-- with Remington 209P or Winchesters, I have.

I use a 250 gr Barnes with 100 gr of loose T7 FFG. I average an inch at 100 yds. I' m also currently playing with the Winchester Platnum tips. So far I' m impressed with them too. If you just bought an Extreme, I' d recomend getting one of these: http://www.aosights.com/power_rods.html
