Well whatever the reason for the coating, their process either sucks or I got a Monday morning barrel!!!

Just got back from my hunt property and will try to get in touch with CVA. Seems Muley man is all bloviating on calling CVA for me. If ya want to get something done, ya gotta do it yourself!

bloviating is to talk aimlessly or boasfully. Kinda like a politician.
I assumed that is how he used the word.

I know what the word means. I want to know why he said it to me.

My waterpump and radiator went out this morning, and I don't have the money to fix them. I'm in no mood to be called names.

This destroys my hunts.

When I posted about the chipped coating on my new CVA you said you would call the company and made it sound like you knew someone there. So if you were blowing smoke (bloviating) to sound important, then that would qualify.

Bloviating is what one does and is not a name!

I believe he said "He'd call them up" like if it was his gun and that happened to him if your talking about the post on the first page.

Exactly.

Not the first time he's turned around what I said. A insult is easier than asking me what I meant.

I do know Jon contacted them because he posted that Dudley emailed him and said it would be covered and that some were coated without all the oil being removed .

Rafsob , On both my Triumphs they have the weathershield, with no flaking. Wish they were stainless though... But it makes me wonder why CVA would cover that nice stainless with that crap coating. Is the MR offered without the coating? Hope CVA handles your issue quickly

It stands to reason the coating is used to reduce cost; boost profit. Right or wrong, that is my guess.
