I do believe its time the moderators step in and warn some of the members. Reading the thread What do you think in regards to American products? it is apparent that some members are becoming downright insulting to other members because of their choice of manufacturer.
That is not why this forum was created. It is here for relating knowledge and experience with other muzzleloader shooters regardless of make and model of weapon. The squabbling between members is IMO offensive and insulting.

you mean like this thread where you were upset because you were warned for what you called someone?

I have'nt read the thread yet but I can imagine and see where your comming from. First off I agree with your comments, we are all one here requardless of what make and model of anything we use. We come here for the Love of the Sport of Muzzleloading and to share our experiences with the lessons we have learned from the different products we use and to pass them on.
But mostly we are here because we are all Friends and we all should ack like such. Were here to Help oneanother and to share our lives with eachother, there's too much Division going on in America already. It's time we should all think of why were here and be lucky we still can enjoy the sport we all love.

I didn't think the thread got out of hand. A lot of it was just fooling around. On my part anyway.

I didn't feel it was anything to get uptight about, but some guys seemed more serious about it. No real personal insults. No reason we need to like what someone else shoots. Its their choice.

I agree I thought the thread was pretty tame compared to what it could have been. I think we should be able to have debates without getting them shut down.

And I believe I have a right to be..even though I meant absolutely no malice in my choice of a single word. And I am sure everyone in here knew that. But the thread I write about here was getting out of hand and IMO was bordering on nasty - far worse than my mis-chosen single word. Even your comment about SOP for CVA owners.
And "what's good for the goose is good for the gander".

And what's wrong with saying its SOP for CVa owners. That's true , there are a Ton of threads where you see the same derailing and skirting the issue. Or avoiding the question. When that seems to be a pattern then it appears to be Standard Operating Precedure . I spelled it out in case you didn't know what SOP meant. You are only offende because you ended up in the CVA camp so you take it all personal now
Go back through the thread and block all the offensive posters instead of crying for a moderator . Before you do that go read some of your posts and get the board out of your eye before you worry about the speck in someone else's eye.

Im proud to be a CVA shooter, I dont give a crap who made it, it'll shoot the eyes out of a frog at 100yds, that's why I bought it.
I believe in GOD, America and the Constitution and that's all that should matter, weather it offends anyone or not I dont care.
If we all bought AMERICAN our Economy would collapse. Im sure not all on here buy all American Cars and Trucks, heck even the last 3 pairs of Levis Jeans I bought came from 3 different countries.
It's a simple fact that no matter how hard we try we cant buy all American made stuff, if we did we'd have to throw out 75% of everything we own.
