And as much as I like T/C I'm sorry but the CVA as they say "is just a better gun."
That is my opinion and no one elses. If you don't like it - tough. But don't tell me I'm wrong because of an experience you had years ago. Company policies change and I believe CVA's changed for the better while T/C's for the worse. (ever since S&W took over.)
you can't really say that based on experience because you don't own a triumph. I have a triumph and had an accura that i sold to someone on here to get rid of it. the Triumph is a way better gun than the accura and thats my opinion based on owning both.. But since you chose the Accura we all understand that you will defend your decision tooth and nail. very rarely will people admit that they were wrong or made a mistake ,as you so very well said.if you dont like it -tough

see the article where it shows that the Dikar Co-op in Bergara Spain at the time of writing owned 100 % of BPI stock.( makers of CVA, Bergara barrels ,etc.)http://randywakeman.com/DangerousMuz...rsAHistory.htm

I think if more American manufacturers and more Americans had the type of attitude ( as portrayed in the video below) we might be better off .

here's a link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1FOysx5OuQ

Then again in our day and age, I guess many could care less. Till America is history and everyone is standing in the unemployment line complaining, or inching closer in the soup kitchen line.
for those who came in late and got sidetracked by others, here's the original thread . that way you dont have to wade through pages of "stuff"

Read Randy's stuff if you want to get sidetracked. He gets paid to go after CVA.

I've talked to him in PM's on the 24hourcampfire. He's involved with many cases. I doubt he does it out of the goodness in his heart.

Well shooter, I am in the other boat - I have a Triumph and do not have have or had any new CVA product - and I would still trust the Triumph much greater than a Accura. Advertising can paint a picture anyway they want to and we must believe because companies keep spending good money on selling us.

Example - TC came out with the 'speed breech' which I consider a real 'speed breech' by todays standard but yet wouldn't you know it CVA follows with their version of the 'speed breech' which is far from being speedy as compared. If you spend the money on R&D (research and development) you can bet CVA will barrow from it saving them $$$$

copying designs is a good way to make a gun cheaper since you dont spend money in R and D .

Sure. You send me one of your Knights to try.

Got a left hand model? Oh sorry. They don't make one.
