No way is your post a hijack. It is very very relevant to my issues. Who knows, i may follow your example. I actually owe you a thank you for such an informative post.
Had you written about the weather in New Mexico, or insisted i not call CVA bullet CVA bullet,

i would consider that a hijack. Had you written i needed a hug, or that i was just Ron being Ron, i would have been insulted, as well as this thread been hijacked. It is only natural i am Ron being Ron; i am Ron, what/who else could i be?
No sir, you did not hijack this thread nor did you deflect the conversation.
Thank you for your post.

That's one good reason. Something must be going on in the Rockies to cause people to ignore facts . Or others to try to take the heat off the poor performance of a Powerbelt by trying to make a prb out to be a worse projectile. I would take prb over a Powerbelt .

Muley, don't you realize i am not the one selling them CVA bullet? I didn't name them. The name seems to be common knowledge, except in your brain. Actually, i don't give a rats* what you call them bullet. After seeing the photo your pardner posted of the bullet exploding on that deer' hide, i know i will never use them.
It seems to me, by definition, it is impossible to hijack one's own thread.
That information you posted about the color deer 'see', is informative, and interesting.

Just because some dealers are calling them CVA Powerbelts. Doesn't mean you have to follow them. I didn't think you were the sheep type.
The only connection between CVA and Powerbelt is they are both owned by the same parent company. As is Bergara . So, you could call them bergara Powerbelts and be just as incorrect as calling them CVA Powerbelts.
Powerbelt is sure not calling them CVA Powerbelts.
If you say to the millions of ML hunters in the world. Powerbelt bullets. They know what you mean. If you say CVA bullets. A large percentage wouldn't know what you mean.
Semanics of course, but since Ron made such a big deal out of it. I thought it was fun to just go along with it.
Ron, of course you can hijack your own thread by changing the subject.
Your turn.

This rifle has been shot everyday now for awhile. It seemed to shoot pretty good at first. A couple of day ago it began shooting erratically. The scope was replaced yesterday. It still threw bullets all around. The scope was removed, and all the mounting screws checked. This morning' target.

Target appears to have been punched by a shotgun. First two shots were in the red bull from 100 yard. The other 5 shots taken from 200 yard. The way this rifle shoots is changing. This rifle will be retired immediately. This rifle probably will never again be loaded and fired. For a time it seemed the rifle would work, but after this continuous shooting it seems to be failing, and is being set aside.

I have a Knight LK-II that does something like that. The first five shots are nice and accurate. Right where you want them. So you could hunt with it. Then all of a sudden it starts to spray all over the place. I've let the rifle cool, swabbed it back to almost gun rack clean, and that helps but does not solve the problem. Strange it would shoot so well the first few shots then to down the tubes.
I would send that in to T/C and see if they can get it to shoot straight. Although to be honest, I wonder just how hard some of these gun companies try to fix the "described" problem.
