I have a Traditions Woodsman Hawkins that is flintlock. And I have to tell you, that has one of the fastest lock times I have ever shot. Just a real good shooter. I should try some sabots out of it as it is a 1-48 twist. Plucket would be in hog heaven with a nice flintlock in 50 caliber like that for his collection. But I don't want to say he needs a flintlock. Because even though he needs a flintlock. I would never say.. he needs a flintlock.

Not everyone needs a flintlock Cayugad. Only those who want to be truly happy.

But a peep sight? You betcha!
Funny that should come up I have been thinking of putting a Vernier on my Great Plains flinter.

And speaking of the GPR I seem to recall someone here said that curved butt is not put against your shoulder but more on the upper arm. Is that correct?

When I shoot my GPH I try to remember to get it on my arm. Otherwise, with just a T shirt for padding, it can give you quite a jolt.
