Got'r Done!
For the past 3 years i kept putting off new glasses and today I FINALLY did it!
My prescription changed drastically to the point where i could only read the second line from the top with my right eye and the 3rd line with my left eye.
Without the peep sight, The 12" target was a complete blur.
Got 2 nice pairs of glasses that will be shipped to me in about 2 weeks and that will bring my open sight shooting back into the ball game. Just in time for hunting season!
I will now only have to deal with a few old guys that are half blind but worse, hard at hearing
Loookie at that thar elk sonnie!! hooooweee! We gunna get us an elk!
uuuuuh Pete..... Thats a rock with a shadow under it

Be interersting to see how it works out for you. I can't use my distance glasses to shoot open sights: makes the front sight blurry. So I can either see two of the front sight and a clear target or clear front sight and a blurry target. I have to actually look over the top of my glasses to shoot. Hopefully your prescription will allow you to see both clearly.
But I am 54, what is your excuse? LOL
A few years ago, my father in law said: "Look at that bear over there" We looked and looked until he was exasparted with us. "Can't you see him in the middle of that rock pile?" We replied: "Oh, you mean that big fat marmot?"
He had his glasses checked the very next week!
