Default preparing for a test

Knight use to carry a Barnes Red Hot in 150 gr 45 cal, that had a velocity of 2295 fps with only a 100 gr 777. You can find that data on any triple 7 3f can of powder.
I have not seen the 150 gr bullet for a long time. I don't know if it is still available as I didn't spend any time trying to find out.
I do have some 150 gr steel Lehigh's though , so I decided to see how they shoot.
I am going to try them in the harvester light blue sabot. It is a thin sabot but it is a high pressure sabot. I plan on using a 100 gr of 3f triple 7. My goal is to shoot them from a 45 cal with the 1:30 twist.
I was going to do that today but after I got everything ready the wind picked up and is over 30 mph. I think i will try this in the morning when hopefully it is a little calmer out. If they shoot good from the 1:30 then I may up the powder charge a little and see what happens.
