Default 2 questions about new Prohunter FX

First of all was wondering if someone new what camo patterns they are available in. I have no idea what mine is and Thompson Center was of no help. I really want to buy a camo scope online for it but would prefer it match if at all possible.

Second. This gun has never been fired. What are some recomendations of what to do before shooting it in, breaking it in?? and how to clean it while sighting it in and after?? Any help would be awesome as this was a big investmetn and i want to get the most out of it! Thankyou

bowtech, The camo pattern on your FX just may be RealTree AP or Realtree Hardwoods, when you said that T/C was no help all i could do was '' LOL '' because i to have had my fair share of them with no help. P.S. the FX look's like a great gun. Best of luck.

I have the Nikon Omega Realtree Apg on both my Encore and Triumph. They match and look great. Not sure if pic will come through using my phone.

bowtechpatriot1, Usually in the area about two inches above the sling mount on the butt stock and about an inch up into the stock there will be two letters they are hard to see as they are in the same colors as the camo.

What are some recommendations of what to do before shooting it in, breaking it in??
I use alcohol to clean out the metal preservative and give it a 100 strokes with JB barrel polish and a very tight patch.
What to clean with depends on what powder you use for that gun I recommend Blackhorn, try 110 grains and a shock Wave 250 grain for a starting load switch to the bonded for hunting, Montana X Blackhorn cleaner or Hoppes #9 mixed 50/50 with alcohol for cleaning.
On many TC guns the win 209 fits best with least leakage of blowback.

That's Real tree AP pattern then. It's a fairly popular all purpose camo pattern. Have fun, that's a great gun you got there

The APG has green in it . It will match ok but will have the additional green in the pattern.
