Which one would you pick?
I currently have a Remington model 700ml .54 caliber, stainless barrel and 24 in barrel. My buddy wants to trade me his new t/c impact 50cal blued barrel with a camo stock...the Remington is in mint condition and has been only shot like 10 times and also has the cabelas conversion kit in it .
Just wondering if I should keep the Remington or trade it?

If you are talking conicals - then yes there is not lot of options... Sabots you do have many options, even a 50-54 sabot that allows you to shoot the newer 50 cal bullets...

I would say a Speer .452-300 grain deep curl but they are really hard to find right now.
I am not much of a Hornady fan because they can separate copper from lead on ocasion.
Sierra also makes a good .4515-300 grain bullets.
Then if you want to go to a preimium bullet, Barnes offers a bunch and Knight offers a .452-250 grain Bloodline that could really be awesome. I use a .458-275 grain Bloodline but there is not a sabot made for 458 to 54.
One other option which would be a bone crusher... there is a 50x54 sabot available that would allow you to shoot 50 cal Deep Curls... man talk about a dead animal...
