I never had any use for bow hunting. That changed about five years ago. Friend had a xbox and I got hooked. Buddy of mine owns a gun shop and I tried a regular bow and couldn't work it due to my bad shoulders. Had them operated on and now they are useless for such things as pulling a bow string back.

I started with a Ten Point GT-Curve xbox and now have a Horton Vision and love it. We also have a one month season in Virginia for archery.

I love getting into the woods during this time of year! My club has about 4,000 acres and only a handful of archers to work it. It is now the best time in the woods for me during big game season..

Our ML season is right in the middle of the archery season here. I'd have the option of hunting before and after the ML season with the bow, and a ML for the ML season, or just hunt straight through with the bow.

I can also use the bow for rifle seasons, and the spring turkey season.

So, lots of options.
