Interesting read. That's a pretty damming report.

Well that is far more then I care to read. I will wait for the movie. Because no matter how many Dr. Deer Dudes conduct studies, and no matter how much money they pump into deer management activities.. the Wisconsin DNR answers only to God. And that's on Sundays only. The rest of the week they do as they please.

I will shoot my muzzleloaders and wait for the deer herds to get better.. thanks for the post.

The first error WI did was hire Gary Alt onboard. As I recall it was his appointment to the PGC to recommend changes to the deer management program that lead to the demise of the state's deer herd. He did wonders for the black bear in PA, but killed off (literally) the deer herd. When I heard that he went to WI, I was wondering if the same thing was going to happen there. Looks like it did. And now he has been appointed to this committee?!?! Sorry WI, but it looks like you won't have a good deer herd anytime in the near future.

I couldn't have said it better myself Bronko, our Bretheren in Wisconsin are literally SCREWED with that @$$hole on board. Get used to staring at trees because you won't be seeing any if that guy has his way!!!
