I know at 40 yards the groups are amazing out the the TK2000. But I would never shoot further then that. I just wait them devils out and let them come closer. That is a lot of fun to watch them approach the decoys.

I know what you mean!! 40yds. is my limit as well.

Not sure where they came up with the 80 yds., it even states on there site that they will hold 85% of pattern in a 30" circle at 40yds. That does not equate to killing power at 80yds. Must have been a professional (only ones that I know that would make a hail mary shot like that and brag) that got lucky one time and actually killed a turkey, instead of wounding it. People that would take shots like that, should not be allowed to hunt. IMO

Perhaps they're loading with Hevi-shot which is fantastic stuff. In the past I've read that records were being broken using it.

->->-> Geese at 93 yards...double jakes at 68 yards...Gobbler at 67 yards...fall turkey at about 65 yards.

Read about these testimonials ~1/2 way down the page:

Not to hijack the thread, but the buddy I mentioned that bought the TK2000 just traded (a Savage bolt action 20ga) for a Remington 870 SuperMag 3½" 12ga and some of the new Kent 3½" shells with 2¼ oz of diamond shaped shot.
At 50 yards the pattern was super-tight & dense, and the recoil was harsh but bearable. Actually much more comfortable then the Knight as far as recoil is concerned, but still not my idea of a fun gun to shoot.
