What gun would you take?

Our Biggest Game Animal would be a Whitetail or a Black Bear, we have No Elk or large game so My 50cal ACCURA Inline would be the MLer of My Choice.
Even if it was different, I still hunt with a MLer because I only have 1 shot, that 1 shot has to be placed in the perfect spot to make a perfect kill. So reguardless of what I hunt, big or medium game my 50cal inline ACCURA would still be my MLer of choice. But then you get into what you can and cant use for whatever State you live in so for bullets, powder, scopes, ect so I dont know because I dont have all them regs, we have just whitetails and bear. If I lived elsewhere I'd probably have a different answer.

I would use my White rifle with a 495 grain .451 volunteer bullet(hand cast). I would take my .54 Hawken as a spare.
The .451 works great on moose, should work great on elk. Black bear on the other hand don't take a huge ball or bullet to kill them. Boone killed hundreds with a 39-40 cal, shot placement, shot placement and shot placement. They are thin skinned and a lung shot(double) is a sure thing but they will run 50-100 yards before they expire. I've shot a couple in the head and a couple in the neck and they were DRT(dead right there), but the majority were lung shots.

Well if actually killing an elk was my primary concern I would take an inline of some sort with a good scope.(if legal of course). But for the shear enjoyment and personal satisfaction I would take a sidelock. I would take my .54 cal GM 1:70 percussion with PRB.

I don't have a ton to choose from so my decision is pretty easy.
TC Omega w/ 3x9 BushnelDusk to Dawn Circle X. Loaded with 300 gr Nosler Partition PP, 110 gr T7, Win 209 primer. That rifle will shoot 100 yd MOA and that load has plenty of oomph.
and the .54 GPR flintlock & PRB for the up close and personal feeling.
I contemplated the 50 cal Renegade caplock with a conical or the Deerstalkers flintlocks but I would want to do it like the old timers did.
