250gr. Shockwave Sabot
#24
I after thinking about this incident over the past 4 days must agree I hit back and high. I must have jerked the trigger or simply chose a bad aiming point hitting mainly the liver, but the misty looking blood led me to believe I nicked a lung on the deers right side. Thank you for all your input and shot placement suggestions,I am reviewing angle shot placement photos in a very good book I have on deer hunting. Once again I accept full resposibility for my failure to drop this awesome buck and recovering him after all my efforts up to now. It will be my earnest goal to do a better job on the next hunt if opportunity is given for another, I'm determined not to shoot unless it is a high percentage situation on a nice Buck.
