it ought to put the hurt on whatever it hits. I bet if you hit a deer with it he wont make it into the swamp.

For the record I dont blame the devil for the mix up because the gun did have a Knight tag on it that says 1:20 twist> If I had picked up a gun in a gun shop with the tag I would expect it to have the twist that it says, I wouldnt have checked either. The question is who should correct this. Should Knight since they mislabeled it or MD since I bought it from him. Thats the big question. Personally i think Knight has an obligation to stand behind what has their name on it. :s2:I guess we will see what happens. After all it is new . it came from a gun shop. It's not like it is a used gun from someone.

I shoot a 525 grain bullet that I cast from an RCBS mold in my Knight 50 caliber MK-85. The bullet is devastating on deer. And also very deadly on elk. I shot a large New Mexico 5X5 with the bullet. It worked tremendously.

I cast it from lead I was given that was taken out of Church windows. So I call it Holy lead. I would tell you how many grains of 3F BP I load but you would call me nuts. But needless to say the recoil is extreme. I have torn and bloodied my thumb webbing several times with the load. Tom.

Be careful. Some guys have said they got a detached retina from heavy loads.
