I have never had to deal with Traditions, but a friend gave me a .50 Lightning Lightweight. It wasn' t expensive enough to suit him, so he bought an Austin & Halleck. Well, the Traditions shoots better, and its' trigger is more easily adjustable than my newest Ruger No. 1.... Basically, a nice serviceable gun for the price, I think![&:]

My wife just bought me a Tracker 209 for my birthday, my first blackpowder rifle.
The nipple spring was either missing, or I lost it while opening the package...I called Traditions and they sent one right out. Great, friendly customer service...
Gun shot great right out of the box...quite happy with it thus far.
