I have never had a problem in any of my inlines with plastic sabot build up but this may help you. I do not have one nor have I ever used one.

I am still lost in the old world... At least once a year i take the barrel to a bucket of hot soapy water with a bore mop and rinse the whole works with boiling water - you will not believe what the heat of the boiling water does to plastic fouling and other bore contaminates.
After the boiling water treatment you can see the flakes hanging in the bore and floating in the water. Then is it just a matter of brushing them out.
And one other standby... JB's bore paste will remove the fouling also.
With the new formulation of polymere in the sabots plastic fouling is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
Hope you get your problem solved....

Thanks guys for your help.........tooks Cayugad advice an tried some brake cleaner, it helped some but not quite to my satisfaction.looked all through my garage as well as in the house an came upon some glass cooktop cleaner (suppose to remove burnt spots on the glass cooktop an is even good to clean glass)...that stuff worked great...removed the plastic an polished the bore to a mirror finish...............i figured if it was ok to use on glass it should be fine for my mz..atleast now i will be able to sleep tonight....

Try the shotgun stuff instead since i know you have some scatter guns. They offer the gel too.

I just use copper cream a few times a year and ive never noticed sabot fouling. You seldom even here about it in smokeless muzzleloaders shooting much hotter powder but im sure it can happen. Things like blowing/drilling a sabot have to be leaving some melted stuff in there.

I have been using Shooter's Choice products for a long time and they work like a champ.
MC #7 Bore Cleaner and Conditioner or their Shotgun and Choke Tube Cleaner

You can buy these products from other suppliers too.
Grafs carries it.
Good luck.
