I'd like to be 25 years old again. Go back to 1850. Walk into the Hawken shop and have Sam Hawken make me a gun.

Then i'd come back to Colorado and hunt elk until I dropped.
1850?? what the heck for? When you came back to todays world, that rifle wouldnt be fit for that pre 1840 club of yours

Couldnt help myself.

I should have bought one back then when I had the chance.

I was too busy chasing good looking squaws.

Before I moved from WY, my Dad and I had talked for a few years about elk hunting together. I think my dream hunt would be a wilderness elk hunt with him. Get out my Grandpa's old wall tent and take a couple weeks to do it.

I want to go on a cougar hunt someday and maybe even use a pistol. It would sure help if the dogs would pitch in and do some of the work.
A bear chase would be nice too.

Pretty ambitious Ron. One shot at a charging buffalo.
