I seem to have lost my taste for travel and would gladly settle for a real monster buck in my home range, taken with the flintlock.

HUUUUUUU--MAAAAAAN!!

LOL just kiddin. I remember years ago i said that and a bunch of people were just in shell shock LOL.

I've been thinking about this all day while cutting firewood and i still haven't decided what i'd like to hunt for a lifetime trophy. I feel something coming to mind but it just hasn't completely shown itself just yet.

Money aside, nothing like out smarting a trophy Whitetail. Preferably with a sidelock.

I'll give you an honest answer.

Since this is a dream. I can make the rules.

I'd like to be 25 years old again. Go back to 1850. Walk into the Hawken shop and have Sam Hawken make me a gun.

Then i'd come back to Colorado and hunt elk until I dropped.

Or until someone hung your nasty old hide on their lodge pole.
