onetohunt-Missouri but I will be hunting Nebraska as well
It doesn't matter where or how many states you hunt in. Or what country for that matter. Just that you abide by the local laws and limits.

(bronko22000) Heck I'll sign up just for the halibut. I don't have a chance in hades of winning though cause I can only shoot one doe with the ML. Unless my tag isn't filled in archery, then I can use my ML during the regular firearms season.
Just your name is all that is necessary on the sign up page.
I realize that the limits in my state give me a slight edge. But all together, last year I shot 3 does and NONE of them were with a muzzle loader. So if this contest were held last year I would have accumulated 0 points. Beside that, this is just for fun and a way to post the pictures of your harvest where everyone can easily access them for viewing.

"Unlimited Does per contestant, within the legal limits of you licence, will count toward your total. "
Isn't this going to be difficult? different states, different limits. In Virginia I can shoot three does and three bucks. But you get my drift? How will this effect the points? Can't we come up with a weight? but then some areas have strains of smaller deer then others?
Looks like this may end up being more difficult to do then we thought!

If this were to become a TEAM event, it would somewhat equalize the difference in state limits. But the teams would be selected by draw. All contestants names would be put in a hat and the names drawn for teams. I'll be waiting to see if ALL contestants want to make this a team event. If you want it to be a team event just post your vote in this thread. I will keep track of the votes and if all contestants wish to make this a team event before the sign up deadline ends I will draw the teams if we have the correct number of contestants. One vote against this idea will cancel this whole idea. It must be a unanimous decision. The only other problem that may occur is if someone takes a deer before the sign up deadline ends. If that happens, I guess his points will be carried with him and counted with his team total. He would be partnered with other participants by a random draw.

Sorry chetmarks, I think if we went with the team concept, it would be best to gather the teams together by draw. That way teams could not be put together in states where the limits are so high. Like mine, I think my muzzle loader limit for does alone is 10. Add on to that what I could get using a muzzle loader during the shotgun season. Then, put together a team of people who hunt here in Maryland and I think you know where I'm coming from. By having a draw, those limits could possibly be spread out a little.
I just checked, if I use a muzzle loader during our fire arms season in addition to our muzzle loader season, my total bag limit on white tail deer is 24.
