You might be surprised. Remington SML conversions are really hot right now and many people prefer them to the Savage. SMI conversions for NEFs and T/C Encores are also very popular. Most break action 45/70s can be easily and cheaply converted to 45s within 2 week turn around time.

Im on Dougs and Savage wouldn't be my choice in a poll that included them unless it had a lot of mods. Rems have a much stronger aftermarket too.

Jon, please don't make me laugh ok!it's obvious why there are so many CVA shooters on your site lmao.anyone who shoots one and looking for a M/L site would naturally be attracted to yours. although i must say i like the site and all the good information and members on it.along with the fact those Accura's and optima's are tack drivers. Actually, if you look at the active members on jons site there is quite the mix starting and there are a couple that have a couple different brands including cva,tc, and knight. I would agree that a cva shooter would naturally be attracted to the site though.

IMO: The question is misleading. How many of those polled actually owned a particular brand of gun?

From my perusal of big stores like Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Gander Mountain, and Bass Pro its evident the Spanish made guns available for sale vastly outnumber those made by TC.

If you believed the online polls, there are about 20 million members of the NRA. Fact is there are about four million NRA members.

I have owned CVA, Knight and several T/C and I have to agree that T/C is the better gun. I will not even buy anything else now.

My all time favorite blk powder gun is a Ruger Old Army though
