Everyone and there brother is gunning for a Tbolt 451. Im even offering a finders fee of $50 for a Tbolt SS 451. They are rare and will likely be a bidding war. They never made one in 410 except maybe a custom order and one of those would go for over $1000 in good shape. Doc actually tested that gun in 451 and 504 with 5744 smokeless powder to prove how strong it is and used a 350gr saboted bullet which is huge for that powder in a Savage...HE DOES NOT RECOMMEND USING SMOKELESS IN THEM!!!!!

IIRC it was Browning that got one and put many rounds of smokeless through it and never blew it up. Docs guns are beasts!!!!

Good luck.

BTW this just sold on TOTW

Its a Schuetzen Offhand Target Rifle 30cal fast twist. I cant imagine how much it brought in.

Doc is now selling custom Sporting rifles too...price on request and capable of 6" groups at 400 yards. They even did well in the 1000 yard match.

He has one ready to sell now for $1000 and it is sweet.

I would have one built to my own personal design, and in my design would be pretty easy to swap between a 45, 50 and 54 barrel.

Amazing that when you ask inline shooters what their dream gun is, you get sidelocks.

Why are we shooting inlines?

I love shooting PRB's in my sidelocks. I hate hate hate shooting my inline. This makes no sense.

A left hand 50 caliber custom FL. With a swamped barrel and presentation grade wood. Round ball rifling. And a really good trigger.

Best part is it is on its way. I ordered it in January, and build time is suppose to be six months. So I should have it soon.

A 45 Gibbs is also on that list. It will go great with my 3 band .451 Whitworth. Tom.

You seem to miss the definition of dream rifle. It's a rifle you can't get, or afford.
