Getting ready for a good season.
About two weeks ago i finished up this shack for Rifle season in Ohio. Probably more so for January. I actually have a ladder stand right behind this shack for early season. And about 70 yards down over the hill i will put up a ladder stand and archery hunt out of it.
![]() ![]() Yesterday afternoon i started building another one i'm going to put in the middle of a food plot. The part of this property i want to hunt has no good tree's for a ladder stand so i built another shack this weekend. I plan on plowing up at least a half acre and planting turn ups and some corn or alfalfa. I plan on putting this one about 12 feet in the air. ![]() |
Bah! Food plots, stands, baiting!
No skill hunting. |
Looking good. Mine isnt portable but it works.
![]() Its so much nicer when its cold and the Mr Heater is keeping me toasty warm on the couch. :D |

Your right, just a lot of work. Cant do this crap in PA.
I wish Colorado had one. I'd sell every gun I have, and build a flintlock. |
