I suggest to buy it while you can since they're not easy to find.
I've bought BP guns from that same outfit and they're a reputable dealer.
The TC Impact is a very nice rifle but it has a 26 inch barrel.

I have to agree that if you can get the wolverine with youth stock at that price I would jump on it.my wolverine is a great shooter just no recoil pad.

I had a LK93, it may not have been clean but it was well made and accurate. Im not 100% sure it would be my first choice for a youth gun but it would at least be a tie for first place.

Im actually kind of surprised no one has offered a 45cal youth rifle in years. Something like a Wolf or Impact in 45 would be very popular IMO for anyone that wants less recoil in a smaller package with less of a longer range sacrifice.

I did jump all over the youth wolverine, thanks arcticap. I've never had a problem with either of my others, and I really like the fact now all 3 of us has the basic same rifle. Makes problems easier to sovle if they ever happen.

I second this. A great gun that shoots just as well as the higher end TCs and he can use it the rest of his life if he so chooses.

Your boy will really enjoy the youth model wolverine. it is built like a tank with a great recoil pad, stock and green mountain barrel. other features i really like are the trigger and the double safety.later on when he grows into a young adult, you can purchase a full size stock.the rifle on the gunsamerica site also has everything you need to get him started. i bought a full sized LOP stock and shoot ours with conicals myself Ray
