The ceramic has to dry over night at least. Once thats all set up you fire 10 shots with copper plated bullets and hot charges, you shoot and get the barrel as hot as possible as it helps set up the ceramic even more. After the 10 shots, fully clean the bore and then just go about firing another 30 shots as you normally do.

Nothing is better than Eezox Gun Care at preventing corrosion anywhere it's applied on a gun. A container costs about $5 and it can be found at most gun shops.

Another is by Montana Xtreme Products. Called Bore Conditioner. I know Cayguard has started using it and so have I. All my guns now have it coated inside. Just havn't shot any of them yet to see if it works. But Cayguard says it works.
