Dynatek Bore Coat is the best protection against rust & corrosion. Its not an oil but a glue like mixture that you coat your bore, let it sit over night and then fire a total of 40 shots through. This special glue contains particles of Ceramic that embed into the steel of the gun, sealing it up tight from corrosion and rust. Never have to oil the gun again.
For the life of me I can't understand how fouling from the first shot does not become embedded under the magic ceramic particles that embed with the second shot (and each succeeding shot).

The ceramic has to dry over night at least. Once thats all set up you fire 10 shots with copper plated bullets and hot charges, you shoot and get the barrel as hot as possible as it helps set up the ceramic even more. After the 10 shots, fully clean the bore and then just go about firing another 30 shots as you normally do.

Nothing is better than Eezox Gun Care at preventing corrosion anywhere it's applied on a gun. A container costs about $5 and it can be found at most gun shops.

Synthetic EEZOX® Premium Gun Care is a total gun-care system with ONE PRODUCT for all guns. This includes black powder guns....

EEZOX® TEST RESULTS OUTPERFORM GUN OILS

The ASTM B 117-5% Salt Spray Fog Test results for Synthetic EEZOX® Premium Gun Care are very conclusive. For test purposes that parallel use in firearms, a very thin film (0.42 to 0.45 mils) of EEZOX® are used.

After 192 to 232 hours of rigorous conditions, EEZOX® scored and "Excellent" rating - the highest given. (Mil Spec requires only 100 hours)....

Facts You Should Know About Gun Care Lubricants,
Cleaners and Rust Preventatives.

....EEZOX® weighs 10.42 pounds per gallon - squirt or spray EEZOX® into a container of water and it will sink to the bottom. This density prevents water from penetrating the thin layer of EEZOX® and from reacting with the metal to form rust. Because of the hydrocarbon oil content of other products, they will "float" on water. Therefore, water penetrates this oil layer and rests on the metal surface. The water then reacts with oxygen and the metal surface to form rust.

Our research clearly shows over 75% of gun owners are not satisfied with gun care products presently being used. Compare this to the 98.7% of EEZOX® users who are greatly satisfied....

Another is by Montana Xtreme Products. Called Bore Conditioner. I know Cayguard has started using it and so have I. All my guns now have it coated inside. Just havn't shot any of them yet to see if it works. But Cayguard says it works.
