Default fired a flintlock first time today

wow lol wind was in my face alittle wow I didn't give it much though my friend had his 54 cal lyman plainsrifle flintlock....soon as I seen it I knew I wanted to shoot it...man I loved it the flame caught my eye and i look right at it, my head was in a cloud of smoke and stuff was hitting me in the forehead and eyebrows lol the shot ended in the 8 ring, it was alot of fun. now it'll cost me lol I want one

They should put warning labels on flintlocks advising not to shoot them because once you do, your hooked and it is going to cost you money to get one of your own. Flintlocks are a lot of fun to shoot. Next time... ignore the flame.

Yes, flinters really get some getting used to. Now just imagine shooting them as a lefty like I am! That pan is right in front of your nose. You really have to focus on your follow thru on the shot. And in your excitement, especially on game, its really easy to forget and 'drop' the barrel when the hammer falls. I hate to admit this but when I was quite a bit younger, I missed a trotting deer at a range of about a whopping 10 feet. To this day, I still blame my hunting buddy for pulling the ball out of my barrel when I wasn't looking....

Flintlocks are the most fun you can have with your clothes on! Can also be the most irritating at times too!

lol went to a mountainman event today alot of nice guns there not many flintlocks it was raining on and off...I should have taken a gun they had a hunting class
