For the record, he hit him on the first shot, we put another in to anchor him down as we were getting close to private property. He was hit hard but its just best to put them down if you can get another shot.

I actually think the advertising is great. That is how we find new products and learn different things. It's all by choice as well.
The video was excellant in my opinion. To me that was a great example of bullet failure. Not sure what bullet that was, but probably a Thor or PowerBelt. The first shot was perfect like said above and the poor kid had to shoot again.
I would like to make this kid a sabotless bullet for his gun. It might take a few try's but i think we can make it accurate with some accurate information. And i know it will be a one shot kill when we do.

It's definitely a sabotless bullet as I heard him work the bolt and the first casing hit the rocks as he ejected and racked another one in.
Maybe I watched the wrong video but the rifle had cartridges in the buttstock carrier??

LMAO just grouse talkin crap without paying much attention to what was used.
Savage .270 with 140 grain handloads. Not sure what the bullets were but the holes on the exit side were huge. He shot the buck at 277 yards.
The "poor kid" was happy as heck, especially when he dropped like a stone. You can see the deer walking hard after the first shot.
When you are hunting close to private property, it'd be stupid NOT to take another shot an anchor him down so you don't have to ask the land owner for permission to recover the deer.
Builder, i was pretty excited, we spotted him and worked up to him along the way, running into other patches of deer.
It was a great hunt, hes excited to see if he draws a tag this year.

I watched the video three times. I guess i just assumed it was a Muzzleloader.
The kid made the right choice two shoot again. The darn Deer was far from dead. Well it's alot easier to buy better bullets for a 270.
