Default Life gets in the way sometimes

and I've have had my hands full of it for the last little while.

Well I took a break from life to relax and do some shooting. The pictures that follow were taken from a video I did for poops and giggles. I couldn't just get single frames so I froze the frame and took a picture of that. The video was running about 20 frames per second so these pictures represent about a 1/4 second in my life.

Hope you enjoy them.
HA

At full **** ready to fire.

Hammer has moved forward, hit and opend the frizzen.

The pan prime has ignited.

another view

Shot heading down range.

Into the follow through.

When I reviewed the whole video frame by frame it was neat to see how the recoil pushed through and how I recovered back to the original firing position.

Here's a link to the video clip.

Excellent post and video.

I wish years ago my friends flintlocks would have went off that quick when I use to push deer to them!

They feel slow when you are shooting them but when you watch them in video it doesn't seem that long.

Glad you enjoyed!
