You mean FPJ, I assume, RPJ is pretty close to what the use in the middle east.... RPG 'rocket propelled grenade'
Those are dang decent groups from a gun that is factory new... and then add on top of that the weather conditions you were shooting in...
OK since you shot it once would you consider sharing send it out here so I can shoot it!
I really want those 300 grain Lehighs to shoot well out of that gun, but even more the 275's. Those would be the bullets I would use most.
Could you or would you say the bore coating product they are now using was or is an asset?
Did you do anything to the stock and barrel fit or was it right out of the box?
May is coming quickly so those rifles should be getting pretty close to ready to come out, I guess I am betting more on late May than early May...

I never thought Knight would produce a gun that could shoot with an Elite. This new gun has a few features better then the Elite. The accuracy isn't that bad either.

I checked my trigger the other night. It pulled at 3.8 lbs. I sent a request to Knight to ship all Mountaineers with a 3lb trigger pull. Does anybody have a reason why or why not?

Today, there may be a legal liabilty that Knight may nor be able to over-ride. I think the Government or Regualtors and their 'Big Brother' protection of us are requiring a 4# pull minimum. And most gun makers like Remington tell you 'if you adjust your trigger then Remington will not be liable plus the trigger will not be repaired or replaced under warranty'.

Saw this quote on Knights website. This means alot to some folks.
Make Sure To Remember Knight is 100% American Made!!! That means No Spanish Import Barrels or Chinese triggers. Hunters You Have A Choice, Support American Workers, Support Knight!

Excellent marksmanship there Tom. Great shooting. But that comes in part also from a very superior quality rifle, excellent optics and knowing what kind of load the rifle will best handle. Again, very impressive shooting and that sure is a pretty rifle. That stock reminds me of my White M97 Laminate. They might be heavy but they soak up recoil and are just a pleasure to get behind.

Curious, who makes Chinese triggers?
