One coupon gets you 20% off your total order. The point is, only one is needed.:guiness:

I wonder how much difference there is between one of these new Knights and my MHC, I have the Lehigh conversion in it. They look very similar. Both thumbholes and stainless fluted barrels. Just curious.

This one is kinda hard one for me because all I know about the Mountaineer is what the web site says and what Grouse has posted...

But you are correct, there certainly are a lot of simularities. The differences come in the added features that the Montaineer has bult into it. The stock is a big step up as compared to the stock that you and I have on our MHC and that not a small chunk of change. Then the way the barreld action is installed into the stock is a real step up for accuracy. Knight says it is floated... but it is not the float that you or I might normally think. From Tom's description the bottom of the barrel is seated while the sides are floated and normally the sides of the barrel contacting the stock cause POI shift.

Next the new bolt and breech plug should offer a bit of an upgrade, even it you have a Lehigh conversion. The addition of the bore coating is also additional more expensive and really might be well worth the expense. And it is my understanding a coating is also applied to the outside of the metal.

Tom says the new ram-rod is also a step forward.

I am sure there are things I am missing, but right now I really do not want to know to much...

Accuracy... from what I am reading I think the new gun will offer a longer life time of great accuracy, with less tweaking as some call it.

One other thing that might have a bearing... The tolerances of the barreld action have been tighten by Knight, so from gun to gun things should be closer to the same.

Just my thoughts - but no first hand knowledge....

only 20% off? Why not have a give away for an entire rifle?
