Give it a try and report back.

I clean my BP and bore with Butch's Bore Shine.

I clean my black powder shooting Hawken with soap and water.

Myself, i have found the Windex with vinegar causes rusting in my barrels. Try a different oil based cleaner for your barrel. I now use Butches Bore Shine. You may find one you wife likes better to smell.

I know she won't like Butch's. I can smell it for days after I use it.

Works good though.

Bore Scrubber has almost no smell. Kind of like a baby powder smell with a bit of a bite.

I put a 209 conversion in my Knight LK93 about 5 years ago.

Should the flash channel on my Knight's BP be a 1/8" hole too?

I know i tried a 1/8" bit last time i looked at it and it looked clean but wasn't going to fit. I just assumed it was a smaller size.

I am sure that it is 1/8".... start with a smaller bit and work your way to the 1/8"

After 30 shots yesterday with BH 209 there wasn't anything for the 1/8" bit to remove from my triumph B P. i soaked it in 50/50 mix of windex/vinegar, then used a pipe cleaner once it was soft, to remove the carbon.i will say it again, Ron's vinegar/ windex mix softens the carbon up a lot... Ron just uses windex with vinegar, i ad more vinegar to it myself...
