This is something that will always happen no matter what brand it is. Some take pride in their company and the products they make and they keep a close eye on things. To others its just a job to go to, whats it to them if something isnt up to par? Looks to them like it'd still do the job. So with that, It happens.

It is Sunday guys a lot of this happened on the weekend, i do not think Knight is home on the weekends. I guess I figured there would be further work on this early this week, once they (Knight) gets by the Monday morning rush.

I believe Knight will, no I am sure Knight will want a satisfied customer and I am willing to lay a glove down that Knight will fix this problem or any other problem as they have in the past and will do in the future.

But, before we hang 'em let's let them come back to work.

Someone earlier in the thread made mention of the fact that these parts should have never made it out of the building, which I think everyone can agree with, but do we know how the mess up occurred - that is what I am betting is going to be the hot topic at Knight - not whether they need to repair/replace what has been done - that is the automatic part of the process. How do they keep it happening again is the problem that the company leaders will need to address.

The other thing that comes to mind, I am betting a buck that chetmarks, never thought this thread would go quite so negative so fast... He honestly just put up a picture and more less asked 'do you think this is right' Not sure he has even had time to address the issure with Knight himself - well he couldn't it is the weekend.

We are all stressed out about the bolts and I think some have overlooked the other part of the story in that the recoil lug on one gun might be canted a bit or out of place.

It would be my suggestion instead of throwing daggers - we give everyone a couple of working days to deal with the problems. If they are not handled to satisfaction - then we have plenty of time to discuss the bad things.

But, none of this reduces the fact that the problems should not made it out of the building in the first place - but unfortunately it happens....

I could tell you of a recent Office Depot problem i had tht would have you all shaking your heads and throwing daggers...

Give them time to work together...
SABOTLOADER I am sure knight will make this issue right with anyone who received one of the poor quality bolts. what i find troubling is why ship them to begin with? when quality machined bolts are apparently just about to become available. i want knight to succeed as much as anyone! but they keep shooting themselves in the foot..bottom line is waiting a week or so longer for a quality machined part is better than being shipped a cast bolt of extremely poor quality, that your going to ship right back to them.. just my thoughts on it... I think that is the main point...but how did a bolt like that get out of the building, I still would bet that will be the big topic come Monday...

The other thing if the cast bolts had been to standard we would not be having this conversation... And I do not blame Knight or any company using existing supplies before moving to the new supply - if the existing supplies are up to standard...

WHY is exactly my point lol! a fledgling company in this competitive world can not afford to potentially lose "any customers" and need to offer quality products that the majority of people buying them want. creating some new ones also is part of the equation.come on Knight you can do it!!!

This has certainly drawna lot of intrest, but Im sure Gordy will sort this problem out and make it right.Back in Dec I emailed an inquiry to Knight about bolt repair and was working through Sam to get it done.A few weeks later I get phone call from Gordy to see how I made out ,so you know he is hands on about this company. Knight might not even be aware of the bolts that are being sent out as mine was shipped from a 3rd party company that Knight had contracted with a P.I Custom moulding which apparently has a lot of affiliates. This is the packing slip which came with my bolt
