My Accura used to leave primers looking like the one on the left. I was using a head spaced plug too that left the primers nearly spotless. That was one of the reasons i let it go. My Elite would handle the same charge with ease and only a very slight primer flow with the heaviest loads.

I recall you once suggested that the screw driver slot be replaced by spanner holes. That would have helped, or perhaps cured the issue. What CVA did when going to the V2, is make the screw driver slot slimmer. They also probably made the primer hole smaller; i haven't really looked. At any rate you can see from the picture of the spent primers, it does help stop the flow of the anvil into the openings.

Others have written that the one primer is held loose, but that is not true. The cleanliness of these spent primer attest to that. Some think the one primer is showing excess pressure, but that is not true. The spent primer just looks that way, because of large opening in the firing pin bushing.
