Must be a full moon over So.Co.

MountainDevil54 01-24-2011 06:36 PM

i get to review a lot of products and test things and relay my info back to them.

Recoil pads im not to sure what you mean. I recall a thread about the limbsaver or the crush zone in which i told corey to just go with the crush zone as the limbsaver is greatly over priced. I know for a fact as i paid almost $50 for a local smith to install one on the X150 i had some years ago.

I made zero $$ off the blog and forum. Thats why the forum itself is a free forum, hence the .powerguild.net address and the .blogspot.com address on the blog. If i had the $$ to do so, i'd easily pay for a personal address to cut down typing time.

You and others that type on here or any other forum type certain brand names that then go into search engines and that actually pays the companies. Click on a link here to something, that pays the forum. Forums are not cheap to run once you choose to do a personal .com address. Modern Muzzleloader the last time i talked to chuck runs $250+ a year to keep up and running. Thats a good chunk of change just for a bunch of old guys to talk about the old days! LOL j/k guys.

Builder, have you friends tell me how i can make $$ off my forum - blog and i'd gladly listen. If the product is flat out just or just needs simple improvement here and there, i tell it straight up. Keep your eyes open for the Aerolite testing, i know you're chomping at the bit over that and i am too. I sent all my info on the inserts i made yet they didnt seem to listen. So we'll only know what we got once i test those bullets out.

MountainDevil54 01-24-2011 06:40 PM

Builder, show me some documentation to what company pays me.

If you want to take a look at a 110% paid off writer/hunter, look at toby. He goes from a knight to a traditions, You and i both know darn well that hes getting paid to support that! LOL

I don't need to show you or anyone else a thing. all one has to do is look at your blog, web site, the products you endorse. as far as Toby goes i am sure you have visions of being just like him and others in the M/L world. there are more pictures of you on the web them Toby. and if he would endorse CVA, you would be lickin his boots.. nuff said.. all there for everyone to judge. again nuff said... really seek some help, you need it..

MountainDevil54 01-24-2011 07:01 PM

i like to feel that i am a lot better looking than toby ;)

No after what he pulled with savage, i actually was dreading the thought of him getting with cva. Im sure hes a nice guy and all, ive talked to him before and he seemed like a good guy to go to the range with, as long as he wasnt shooting a savage! :D

Not one dime Builder! I just test the gear and type up what i think about it. Most are good, certainly has been some stuff that i am still testing a year later that needs updating on, but i dont get paid. Actually walmart and other food stores will send out samples and such and all they ask is that you go onto their website and let them know what you think.

But lets not make this about me

Semisane 01-24-2011 07:53 PM

I suggest this thread be moved to the following site.

SOB semi. As soon as i went to the link that stupid " up up and away in my beautiful balloon" song popped into my head. I HATE THAT SONG

Semisane 01-24-2011 08:06 PM

My work here is done.

SteveBNy 01-24-2011 08:12 PM

The accusation has been shown to be false and libelous. Unless Jr has some real proof to offer to support his allegation, he should offer a detailed SINCERE apology or be banned - AGAIN.

MountainDevil54 01-24-2011 08:18 PM

considering how he ran over here, when it took place on another forum, hes at fault for this post and what followed. Along with him making false claims of posting under the name HOGGHEAD over on modern muzzle loader certainly has me scratching my head and wondering what hes talking about. It will take a good deal of time before i pay less attention to these names now.

Steve dont you ever have anything to post? I swear you just pop up to talk down on me and give me cra p.

SteveBNy 01-25-2011 04:32 AM

Still can't admit you wrongly called a man a thief and a liar.
Where or what I post does not change that.
Keep showing that fine stuff you are made of Jr.

That angers me Ron that you still carry on with this. I know you said you dont mind it being dirty, but you sure did shim up your V2 and back the firing pin bushing out .020" !!

Well, well, well, back then you wrote the primer pocket was too deep; now you write i tightened the head space some. At least you now are correct. Whether or not you lied back then, or were just ignorant, you are the only one that knows.

It 'angers' you that i wish the truth be written? That's ironic. I should be the angry one. It was my reputation you tarnished with false statements.

The first thing i did, when i received the plug back from you is thread it into my test piece. It threaded right in with no issue whatsoever. The pictures you posted showed threads that looked ugly, but it turned out they worked just fine.

Why do you now mention the 0.020", and the 0.016" measurements? Those measurements were taken on the V2. That plug was made for a pre-2010 Accura. Those measurements have nothing to do with that plug. Oh, wait, did you use that plug in your V2? No wonder you had so much trouble.

Thank you for finally recognizing the plug did indeed reduce head space some. I wish you could have been correct the first time around. The false things you wrote are archived, and will be floating around on the internet for as long as the internet exists.

One day I'll develop a way for an aggrieved party to deliver a right cross through the internet. When I do, punks like him will best think twice before hurling accusations.

Until then, us thoughtful and mature men must maintain our vigilance against the keyboard bomb throwers and spammers.

x2 on that and that's why in a earlier post on this thread, i mentioned a trip to the wood shed, for some manner lessons! Ray !

hometheaterman 01-25-2011 09:34 AM

So you admit that you get free products from these companies in turn for pushing their products?

How does one get free products from a company anyway? If Speer wanted to send me some free Gold Dots, I'd tell on the forum that I like them, since I do. I'd however not push crap like MD does just because a company offered to send me a few free samples.

The pictures you posted showed threads that looked ugly, but it turned out they worked just fine. From my understanding, you went and used a file to straighten up rolled over threads that were clearly in the picture. Everyone that saw the plug knew the threads wernt right.

Considering how my firing pin bushing on the V1 was adjusted .016" outward after installing the plug, There wasnt much left to do in order to get it to shoot clean.

Just check the threads out better is all i am saying, i was lucky it didnt ruin my BP threads inside the barrel.

I get some free products for testings and building up data for my forum members when - if they need help. I am not the only one on here that gets free stuff now and then. And i dont push, i simply shoot, document it and type up my experiences with that product, good or bad. You know when someone comes along as says, How do those new aerolites shoot and someone on here goes, Ooooooh i wont shoot powerbelts they are crap!

Well how do you know the Aerolites are crap when you never shot them or did any testing with them? They dont, they are just basing it off past experience with old powerbelts when they were shooting them incorrectly.

I dont push products, i just simply use what i shoot in the field.

HTM, you've been here long enough to see who's getting the free stuff. I am not going to even bother mentioning names.

But in truth, its not hard getting the stuff to test out, if anyone wants to know the "secrets" just ask me or one of the others on here that test stuff out.

I originally thought that's what you were doing, but after watching for a while, I've never seen you test a product and say anything bad about it. Some are products that I've personally used, and found to not work very well. That made me start being skeptical. You aren't the only one that does it either though.

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 10:17 AM

exactly what i explained in the PM to you.

But for everyone else, I know for a fact it seems like i have nothing bad to say about the stuff i shoot. Thats not quite true, i have quite a few products right now where i've actually had to modify and fix because of problems. I've fixed these but for the price they cost, i shouldnt have to be modifying these items. I will take pictures and write about what happened and how do fix it should you choose to do so.

HTM, i really wish people would speak up about products they use and explain what the issues were. I think its important to hear these things and take a look at them to see whats going on. Kind of like what i did with the Powebelt bullet. I did all my testing, tested with my own inserts and another guys inserts, found that the smooth shaft insert isnt worth a snot and told powerbelt bullets just that, along with pictures of my inserts and how to do it right. I honestly think you have to be on a companies payroll before they will take you seriously, thats what ive come to figure.

It is more than just free products,he has a web site and a blog and both generate dollars VIA advertising.does anyone really think for a minute a site like "this" or FG'S doesn't generate revenue? they can be quite lucrative.it cost money to set up sites and maintain them.huntingnet is a first rate site and i hope it stays that way.

Im sorry builder but i dont make one penny off my website or forum, its strictly to build data on one brand of rifles before i move on to the next brand of rifle and work up data for that brand. I know you dont like the products that i use, but its what i use during colorados muzzle loading season. Its the same stuff my brother in law uses just south of the boarder in new mexico.

Ive even gone as far as selling all my inlines and shot traditional muzzle loaders with patched round balls just to shut everyone up and get them off my back. I no longer will do that, i am going to shoot what i want, no matter what you or anyone else has to say about it.

Others have expressed pretty well what I feel about making accusations without solid proof so I'll not repeat those issues.

I'll just say that regarding why this thread was started, given that the incident involving the lying and fraud originally occurred on this site, IMO, it was appropriate to address the matter here.

Well once upon a time there was this flocker named IndianaSmokepole or Lungbuster and another nice guy named Saxman who needed a kidney. The flocker liked guns but had no money so he thought he would start a raffle and donate a gun to give away and then give all the money to Saxman who was very sick. So all lot of guys entered the raffle for a good cause and they all got flocked because da bad guy kept all the money for his own self. Everybody got pizzed and then we kind of forgot about it all or tried to.
The End

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 01:09 PM

ISP - Lungbuster also came back under the name HOGGHEAD which is the name i ran into on huntingpa.com and once i called the name out, he came running over here made this post and so that REALLY caused a huge spike is suspicion on my end. I know HOGGHEAD seemed really tight with a lot of these posts in here. To me, he ran to where the friends were who would just talk down on me and put the heat on me rather than the HOGGHEAD who ran. I've never in all these years ran into a user name spelled the same way, the exact same way and have it be another person.

That is exactly why I brought it here. I could not prove anything on the PA forum. The theft occurred on this forum, not the PA forum. Then after I called him out on his BS on the PA forum he called me a thief to try and discredit me-no other reason. He did not address what I accused him of over there. He simply re-directed it toward calling me a thief. Go read it if you do not believe me. Then draw your own conclusion.

The only way I could prove that I was innocent was to bring it to the forum of origin. Where else could I take it?? Tell me 7.62-where else could I take it??

The child has been provided the information that his accusations are wrong by other well respected members here. And they did not do that because of any direct friendship to me. They did it because it was the right and proper thing to do.

The real problem here is that children do not understand what is right and proper.

And if you think I am improper for calling him a child. Then just reread all the redirection and misdirection he has written on this thread. Without ever once directly addressing the real issue at hand. How does a child handle a question they do not want to answer. The msidirect!!

That I why I call him a child. I wrote this to address your issue 7.62. Not as any more address to the child. I am done with him. I don't fight with children, it is not a fair fight. Good day. Tom.

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 01:13 PM

You tell me how common it is to have repeated names on forums? HOGGHEAD the exact same way as the rip offer.

Careful with the name calling, After all, u tucked tail and ran to where your buddies were that protect you. That raises my alert big time.

sabotloader 01-25-2011 02:30 PM

MountainDevil54

You just plain jumped to conculsions.... and you missed the boat by a mile, which is not uncommon in your case.

As you have been told in this thread HOGGHEAD is a common name do a BING search you will find a whole bunch of references to HOGGHEAD - it is not that uncommon name.

The HOGGHEAD that resgistered here 'could' have been Ron Goldman as 'Flounder' told you already - your assumption that every 'HOGGHEAD' out there. In fact when you do the search it seems it would be appropriate for you go to each one of the references and accuse them of being Ron maybe you might get lucky... or do you feel lucky? Further in that thread 'Flounder' told you that Tom is not the HOGGHEAD that resistered on this sight and he certainly is not the HOGGHEAD that registered on MM.

This link will guide you to the HOGGHEAD that 'Flounder' pointed to....

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/members/hogghead.html

Just cop to it you made a huge mistake, maybe if you quit trying to impune others, and not just HEAD0001, you accuse anyone that calls or questions things that you do, then perhaps if you took time to take of your own character things might smooth out. Better yet just GROW UP...

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 02:40 PM

the funny part, you guys keep telling me to grow up, yet you guys give me crap all the time. practice what you preach.

flounder33 01-25-2011 02:45 PM

We aint the ones slandering somebody's good name by accusing them of things they didn't do. What you did there is as bad or worse as what IndianaSmokepole did. He just conned a lot of people out of a few bucks, what you are doing is trying to take away somebody's good name.

sabotloader 01-25-2011 02:49 PM

MountainDevil54

Have you ever asked yourself WHY the statement about you or to you is made about you so much of the time. Even now you are unwilling to admit you made a mistake make the necessary appology on both forums and move on.... I think everyone here and hopefully everyone one HuntingPA would recognize the fact that your are trying to make amends.

The only one that might have a bigger mountain to get over is Head0001, and you really can not blame hime for that one - but time heals...

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 02:53 PM

HOGGHEAD is NOT a good name Flounder

We'll let you girl friends protect your other. I certainly will watch the classifieds for foul play.

deer655 01-25-2011 03:39 PM

MD54; i have been on this site for about 2 years now. You are constantly on the defense of some position that you think you are absolutely positively correct. Maybe its time to take a look at why guys here think you are little off. I very seldom see others squabbling with other posters almost every day. Now to accuse someone of theft without proof you have upped the ante a little too much for most folks here.

MountainDevil54 01-25-2011 04:07 PM

i dont shoot what they shoot, its as simple as that. I dont have my hand in with knight or lehigh
