The round ball sabot on the left is the one I posted a thread about some time ago. The one on the right is one I found in my .490 round ball box yesterday when I was sighting in the GM Carbine.

Yeah, the one on the right is a Poly-Patch. They proved to be somewhat dangerous and were discontinued. I have a bag of a few hundred of them sitting out in the garage if anyone wants them.

We remember, If you deciede to use it check it carefully that the ball stays in place when you rap the barrel strait down on a piece of wood [don't use anything that can mar the button]. If you shoot them tell us how they work and what twist you were using and what load with a pic of the target please.
If they work reasonable well and have decent availablility I might try them.
