I am using a 200 grain shockwave now and the groups are awesome. He wants to try 75 grains of powder, so we will give it a shot and see how he handles the recoil. I think it will be fine, but I don't want to make him " gun shy" either. He is only 7 years old so his judgement is not always the best. He wants to increase his charge to 75 grains because that is what his Mom is shooting and he can't let a girl shoot a heavier load than he does.
