If you are planning to use the recoil pad as a template, I suggest starting with a "pre-fit" pad like this limbsaver, http://www.amazon.com/Limbsaver-Pre-.../dp/B000GIQIMU
Always use a screwdriver with a round shaft coated with a little Vaseline to prevent tearing the rubber around the screw holes.
