I have a T/C and CVA product that I shoot or maintain. I am a buy in the USA kind of guy, but I have to say the CVA product is as good and in some cases better than my T/C. The Trigger is much better (out of the box) than the Pro Hunter. There are pros and cons to both that I can see, but I see no reason to slam the CVA products. They are creating some US jobs, but not as many as they could if they produced them here, but then the price would rise too. My only complaint is the fluting is a little deeper and wider than I would like to see. Other than that, I think it is a good gun that can be purchased by most income situations and that keeps more people in the sport.

I've been shooting with my Thompson Center Encore now for about 3-years. Yes, the ramrod guides have loosened up a bit. But nothing locktite couldn't fix. Other than that I've had no problems with my Thompson Center. The gun has never misfired and it shoots great. I have no desire whatsoever to buy a CVA. Don't settle for less.
