Default 300 gr deep curl

This question is for those of you who have tested and use the 300 gr deep curl.with it's high B.C and it's excellent terminal performance. would you say this bullet is a good choice for say 200 yd shots? the .250 version is a great bullet, but it doesn't have the B.c. the 300 does.and i would truly like to use the same bullet for practice and hunting.most people out here on the left coast that shoot omegas and triumphs use the barnes .250 bullets and take deer and hogs out to 200 yds. a "few "people have had problems with the barnes opening up a really close range with higher powder charges.and saving a few dollars does play into my thinking also.thanks

I would use the 250 to 175 yards on deer without a question.. If 200 yards were going to be the shot, 300 deep curl will be the better choice....

This is from the Omega with 110 gr. T7-2f

This is from the White with 120 gr.

Consider the 50 /40 200gr bullet, it has the BC and the SD + a noticable amount of added velocity. The 200 gr Shock Way and the 200 gr Lehigh I have had great results with for long range.

Not a lot of difference between the 2 bullets sabotloader.what about 1" at 200 yds ? with the 300 having the better B.C.i tested the .250 out to 150 i was just worried beyond that in case that 200 yd shot comes along.and as i said cost VS performance is a issue to me. and wanting 1 bullet to practice and hunt with.50/40 sounds interesting but that lehigh is expensive and the SW i have read mixed reviews on.i am a believer in the heavier bullet carrying more knock down at the longer ranges. thanks lee and sabotloader. i am really leaning towards the 300 deep curls, and i know you need to push them.hopefully they will shoot well out of the Triumph..
