Another vote here for the Wolf. I picked up one of the kits that had everything except primer and powder for around $200...had it sighted in in about 5 shots. A snap to load, shoot, and clean. And as others have already mentioned, I love the breech plug finger-screw (as dirty as that sounds ).

For the money, the Wolf's are hard to beat--and they hold their own against a lot of guns that cost much more than they do, imo.

Dunham's has had some good sales on them this fall.

I just bought the cva wolf last week and it was my first muzzleloader. I love it and im hooked now. Its really inexpensive and great quality. I would highly recomend it.

I actually have and use a CVA wolf and its a nice little gun, its not too big or bulky nor is it too heavy and the accuracy is great for the price, the gun i bought is the wolf they made before the easy out breach mechanism ( not sure on that option) but its a great rifle and groups good for me at 50-100 yrds, the powder i use is 777 pellets, i use 2 pellets (100 grain) and i use a 240 grain XTP hollow point (i no some of yall dont like it but it shoots good in my gun) but anyways it would be a great ML for anyone in my opinion and its easy on the wallet too.

o and i paired mine with a T/C gorilla scope package and it works just fine, the scope is around 50 buck i belive and its a 3-9x40, tho when i bought and mounted mine the manufacturer left the adjusters all the way turned in, so it was shooting 2 and 1/2 foot left and about the same high. so i would check that out if you decide to purchase that or if any one does.
