Congratulations on some fine eating.
I also have noticed that the BC we expected to use and what I am getting at long range is not the same. In particular the 200 gr 40 caliber shoots almost as flat as the 200gr SW.

I totally agree... I know people look at the bullet and see the design and write it off as a terrible BC. But, really people should shoot it and see what it really does at the longer ranges....

I think I still have a few of them. I will have to try them on my range and compare them to some Shockwaves. Although I could shoot them in a .50 but I do have a .45 caliber that can shoot them. But have no .45 caliber shockwaves. Unless I change out some sabots.
Did your scope have a BDC or did you just adjust your POA?

Yes, my scope is a Bushnell Elite 3200 with a Ballistic Reticule. But when I was shooting it at the farm out to 200 I used the main cross-hair. With a 6" point blank range set up - I will be down a little more than 3" @ 205 yards. That is computed using the low BC. When I took this shot I over-compensated thinking in real life it might actually drop more.... It didn't

What sabots might you need? You have on hand some 40 cal SW's but they are in a 50 cal sabot is that what I think I am understanding? I just looked I do not think I have any 40cal SW's but tons of sabots. Let me know...

Thanks for the complements on the shot but every one remember this was with a 3x9 scope (set on 7 power) and I was leaning on a stump to get a steady rest + plus she was standing still giving me a perfect broadside shot.
Funny part i remember turning the power ring on the scope but I could have sworn i turned it all the way to 9 power, but when I check the scope yesterday - big as life it is on 7.
The other part i have pushed a lot of bullets down range at the farm this far and farther, although I still consider my max range 200 yards - when everything is right. I truly believe the gun and even the bullet has a greater range than that - but the nut behind the trigger maybe does not have that ability.
