i had an optima a few years ago that did the same thing, after taking the barrel off to clean one day my pin fell out. i called cva they said send it in, i did and a week later i got a call saying it was normal wear and not covered under warranty. i got rid of it and bought a tc omega, i might buy another cva but i don't know.
