My prediction for Knight rifles.

One other point that I would like to throw out - the people at the corporate level of PI are very successful and have diversified into many different markets and products... They have made a living spending money wisely.
Even though my opinion is they will need a affordable yet quality break action to compete with imports, im not so sure that its their main focus for now or any time soon.
I really would like to see a better version of the Vision just to take a bite out of the imports profits and get people to try a Knight........but for now.... selling the models that loyal Knight fans enjoy might make the most sense.
CVAs and Traditions are getting pretty pricey now also, so getting into that market is getting a bit easier IMO. I think many of them are fine guns but if im paying $400+, im definitely going to look at Made in USA options also.
If Green Mountain could sell me my GMB54 for $400, it seems entirely possible for the new owners to offer something in that price range too.

Have the new owners said the guns would be made here and not overseas?
I can't hardly believe these break actions arent shaking looose yet, just like the old single and double action shotguns did with use. Esp the cheaper ones.

They will be made here in the states from everything that I have heard. Several different American companies will be involved in the process.
And I thought I was the only one that had these thoughts... Over the years shooting trap i have seen this a lot in even the most expensive shot guns. But, If you are only using it once in while for hunting and do very little shooting it might never be a problem...

I do not think the break action getting weak holds any water. You can not compare it to trap or skeet guns. Heck my trap and skeet shotguns both nave well over 10,000 rounds down the tube. how many guys will ever shoot a MZ 10,000 times?? Not very many. And my Beretta's are not not shoot loose. Not even close.
MZ's by 99.9% of the people are not shot very much. So I do not look for them to wear out any time soon, or in the future. Tom.

I know one thing Knight has gotten very proud of the Discs and full plastic jackets. They doubled in price since the last time I bought any. The only place I have found them is on Knight's site.
I have a couple of the Disc rifles. One uses the original orange disc the other uses the Red full plastic jacket. I do like the Disc rifles.
