use a #32 drill bit to clean your flash channel, you should have no trouble at all after that.

Ok got it. Hand drill out the flash channel with a 7/32 or num 32 bit. If i still have prob then drill the flash hole out with a .032 bit witch would be around 1/32 correct?

Wow ok just used a 7/32 bit on it and blew it out through the flash hole. Lots of dust. I will never use those Winchester 777 primers again they are way dirty compared to the cci's.

777 primers are not made for BH209.

After 3 shots with Winchester W209 primers & using #32 drill bit.

I do prefer the cci 209m's due to their cleanness and lack of carbon build up but i think i bought every darn package the store had. Had to settle for the winchesters.

Heres a sizing chart to help you out,

7/32" drill is much too large for the flash channel. A #32 drill is almost perfect for the flash channel. A 7/64" drill will work for the flash channel, if you cannot find anything closer.

If you have been using 777 primer, that is your main issue causing ignition problem whilst using BH209. Almost any other primer is much much better. If you use a normal shot gun primer, and do so with a drilled out flash channel, you should experience much better results.

Keep your flash channel clean, and use something like CCI 209m primer, for success most all of the time.

Yeah I was using a 7/64 not a 7/32. Had one the garage going to go to the store to day and find a num 32. I also didn't Use the 777 primers on bh209. I was using them with t7 powder before I made the switch bh209. Hope I get a chance to go to the range today to check it out.
