Just to start the ball rolling as far as dates. What about somewhere between the second weekend in April to the 3rd week in May. That is Spring Turkey season here. That way if somebody wanted to Turkey hunt in South Dakota or in
Nebraska they could. Of course Feb is the deadline for application. Just a thought.
About 30 mile and 75 miles fron here in nebraska is a popular spot for merriman Turkeys. Rio grande of course are here by the hundreds literally.

Any time after mid April ought to work. I have a graduate this year so May is going to be very hectic for me. Don't set the date around my schedule though.

I'm good for any part of that time frame. Maybe you should ask the Devil (Weasel?) to pick the final date.

1. He issued challenge.
2. You accepted & set venue. (With great generosity, I might add.)

Lord willin', I'd love to come out. That time of year is pretty calm for me so I should be good for any time in the spring.

That would be great and even if the Devil doesn't make it think it will be a great time. Maybe the first for a Forum Rendevouz.
And if the Devil does show then it should make for some great shooting matches 150 yards off hand for him versus my 150 feet offhand. Maybe Knight will have an Ultimate Slam out by then that we could get for the winner take all prize. Can you see the Devil winning a Knight , Why if he shot a knight for a while that would cure him of that CVA addiction. ,without even any withdrawals

Look at #3 there MD, pick a date for around the 3 or 4th week in April and once we set a date we can begin working on a list of shooting events. If you honestly don't think you are going to accept then say so and we will go ahead without you. Although you were the original motivation for this I like the idea so much that I think we should do this even if you don't accept the challenge. Remember technically this wouldn't be a vacation for you.

i never said i wasnt going. We all have a life and what happens from today to april-may is a long way off from now.

You could always come the first week in May and think of it as the biggest birthday party you ever had,It might even end up becoming a coming of age party
